Highlights from Coco Republic: Creative Perspectives
This June we had the honor of being featured in Coco Republic’s Creative Perspectives series. With the goal of showcasing the artworks of diverse artists, Creative Perspectives focuses on a different artist each month, exhibiting their artwork at HD Buttercup in Culver City. The exhibit featured the exclusive collection of artwork we made for Coco Republic’s US debut, inspired by their furniture, accessories, and finishes.
With some of the collection displayed in a gallery format and the other artworks staged with furniture, viewers were able to appreciate the artistry of the artworks hanging on the walls, as well as get a preview of what the artwork would look like inside their home. From textural monochromatic paintings to graphic abstract prints to neutral overlapped textiles, the collection spans multiple mediums with something for every interior. We love creating bespoke artwork for a specific space, so seeing our artworks with the furniture they were designed after was so rewarding for us.
We met so many amazing people and introducing them to Visual Contrast was such a treat. Thank you so much to the team at Coco Republic for putting this event together, it was definitely a success!
