Figure Drawings Collection

The Figure Drawings are expressive line drawings done from life. As studies of the human body, these drawings capture the essence of the form through line. A different emotion is conveyed through each pose portrayed, enhanced by changes in the line work and variations in the amount of detail. Done in charcoal and conté crayon on an aged Hungarian paper, the artworks have a collected and vintage feel, reminiscent of an heirloom. An exaggerated mat and hand-finished walnut frame adds to the antique quality, drawing attention to the artworks. With each piece in a different size, the artworks are meant to be hung together in a gallery wall for a curated look.
