Collaborating with Sybille Zimmermann of Studio Zimmermann, we created the artwork for Elara, an upscale apartment complex with Mediterranean style architecture. The building had a distinct design style and a funky color palette, so it was our job to ensure the artworks fit into the interiors perfectly. With the goal of having each amenity space tailored to its purpose, the design of each room was intentional and thoughtful to promote a different feeling in every room.

With earthy tones like rust, sage, and terracotta as the base color scheme, we decided that the art should pack a punch with its color while adding texture with interesting materials. We created two sets of textural artworks to complement the organic textures layered into the space. The Sculpted Panels were custom colored to match the furniture and fixtures, fitting perfectly into niches in the walls. Working within a cost conscious budget, we made sure to have the statement pieces in the rooms with the most traffic, adding in supplemental prints and silkscreens to the corridors and other rooms.
