Opus LA is a brand new cosmopolitan two-tower apartment building designed by Jamison Properties and ISO Architecture. With thoughtful design, the building aims to create a refined home for its residents inspired by traditional and contemporary cultures. The interiors mix modern design with natural materials like wood and stone to create a sophisticated space. With two towers, we were challenged to create artworks for two lobby spaces in an extra large scale, in addition to artworks for the amenity spaces. Drawn to earth tones, we had to ensure that the artwork would fit the color scheme and materials of the building, while upholding the elevated style. 

Inspired by minimalism, sustainability, and well-being, we looked to texture, neutral color, and contrast to create an art collection that represents the message and ethos of Opus LA. From a co-working room to a game lounge to a private dining room, our artworks were tailored to each location, while reflecting the project as a whole. We custom created two textural Impressions triptychs for the lobbies, each in a different earthy color palette. We custom sized each panel of the triptych to fit in between the wood paneling on the walls, while matching the color to the furniture in each space. We incorporated textural artworks, silkscreens, paintings, and prints into the rest of the project, mixing abstract and geometric styles to create a cohesive collection.
