Project Spotlight: A Coastal Retreat with Jessie Ann Design

We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Jessie Ann Design on a beautifully curated home in Corona del Mar, California. With a quicker timeline, we leaned into our ready-to-ship artwork, thoughtfully selecting pieces that could be delivered promptly while still feeling intentional, elevated, and deeply connected to the home’s aesthetic.

The interiors embody a relaxed California-cool sensibility, grounded in warm neutral tones like taupes, browns, and beiges and balanced with darker brown and black accents. Mixed materials, sourced objects, and collected accessories give the home a lived-in, curated feel, making it the perfect backdrop for our artwork throughout the space.

In the living room, a piece from our newest collaboration with Tessa Brown, Hazy Horizon, is perched on a shelf, where its soft, misty brown landscape feels right at home alongside antique ceramics. Above the sofa, two of our Color Studies hang side by side, adding warmth and depth to the space.

The primary bedroom features two of our Burlap Circles hung above the bed. Their warm brown tones and texture beautifully echo the nightstands and accent pillows, creating a cohesive and calming retreat.

In the entryway, our Surfer at Dawn print hangs above a striking console table. Surrounded by black-accented accessories, the piece feels effortlessly grounded while nodding to the coastal setting. The dining room showcases a thoughtful pairing: our Burlap Cross silkscreen hangs opposite Out West. The jute burlap texture complements the rattan dining chairs, while the landscape painting introduces a soft touch of blue that enlivens the neutral palette of the room.

Finally, in the family room, an oversized version of our Reflections print anchors the space above the sofa. Flanked by two sconces and finished in our espresso frame, the artwork feels both substantial and serene, perfectly suited to the room’s inviting atmosphere.

This project is a wonderful example of how thoughtfully chosen, ready-to-ship art can seamlessly integrate into a layered, collected home, without compromising on style or feeling.
