Before launching Visual Contrast, my world was shaped by the pages of art history books, hours spent in museum halls, and years of studying the visual language of artists past and present. I studied art history first in school, and then more deeply at university, where I became fascinated by the way art captures culture, emotion, politics, and everything in between.

The Mini Screen Print Collection is a collection of colorful silkscreens that radiate personality, creativity, and playfulness. With twenty three different designs in varying colorways, there are endless possibilities of how to style the collection.

With an earthy color scheme and a focus on abstract shapes, this gallery wall is moody yet sophisticated. Featuring a wide range of mediums, we rehung the main wall in our studio to showcase our favorite framed and unframed ready to ship art.

Collaborating with Sybille Zimmermann of Studio Zimmermann, we created the artwork for Elara, an upscale apartment complex in Woodland Hills, California.

When styling a bedroom, many don’t know where to start, especially with art placement. Bedrooms are a refuge, the most personal room in the home, and the place you go to relax. The artwork you hang in your bedroom should represent the feeling you want the room to evoke.

When Brooke Wagner Design contacted us to make a custom set of Woven Abstracts for their Lake Winnipesaukee project, we were excited for the task. They were interested in recreating our Mini Woven Abstracts in an extra large scale for a game room. Sending us the color scheme, carpet samples, and fabric swatches for the room, we analyzed the different color combinations to see what would work best.

Sage LA is a brand new apartment building located at the intersection of Los Angeles’ most vibrant eastside communities. When ISO Architecture reached out to us to design art for the building, we were enthusiastic to create a bold and bright art package to reflect the artistic mission of the project.

We recently collaborated with Jamison Properties and ISO Architecture on creating the artwork for Opus Los Angeles, a brand new cosmopolitan two-tower apartment building. Located in Koreatown in the heart of Los Angeles, the building boasts a variety of amenities and benefits for the residents with thoughtful design meant to “create a new way of artistic living full of color, great food, and innovative architecture.”
